Hello, today I’m going to tell you about a very important issue for our society. This is a time in our history where growth can not be stopped. eventually, this will conflict with the planet’s health. This is a serious problem. The authorities are "concerned" about it, and they try to convey the message through television, internet and newspapers. Also, this topic is being introduced in schools, in order to create consciousness in our childrens. But, nobody knows if the efforts are really useful... nobody knows the true extent of the problem.
There is still no integrated environmental culture in many countries. Thus, many people find it difficult implement new habits in their lives. I’m the best exampleof that people. I have not built recycling habits, for different reasons. Some of them are my weakness and my ignorance.
However, four months ago I decided not to take any more "transantiago" or "metro" (wherever possible). Instead, I take my bike. It's amazing how wonderful it can be biking, and how horrifying may be taking a "transantiago"... and nobody notes the difference.
I have not yet registered to any eco organisations, and I never will. I think that helps our planet can be done by everyone, without the need for an organization.
One of my favorite techniques to help the planet is off the light. I buy candles, and sometimes use. This can become a very enriching experience. With candles, you can create a new atmosphere of inspiration, and at the same time you contribute to carbon reduction.
I think there is much to do in this city if we want to help the environment seriously. We need to build many bike paths. We have to completely revamp the system trash. They are just small examples that could be helpful.
Good Bye My friends!

Thank you for the music
Hello my friends, today I'm going to write about a beautiful topic. It will be easy because everybody loves it; I’m talking about music.
The music that I like most is that which connects me to my roots, and makes me feel part of a great collective manifestation. Thus, it’s not surprising that mi first option is the Latin music. Anyway, Nevertheless, I like listening to music from other places. What I love about music is rhythm, because I feel he has to do with my physiology, my animal dimension. The melody is secondary, and has more to do with my emotions, my human dimension.
I like listening to music when I ride a bike, when I read or when I wake up. But I also like listening to music when I'm with other people, especially if we are talking about Cumbia. Music gives place to be heard both in solitude and in society.
My favorite group “now” is a Chilean one, called “La Orquesta Huambaly”. They are very old, but their tropical sound makes me feel in the climax of my youth. My favorite singer is Atahualpa Yupanqui, because he sings to his roots.
For me music is absolutely essential. It is the possibility of opening up us in our animal and human dimension. At the same time, it gives the possibility of share with the others in a supremely and sincere way. I think is one of the best things that we have. Let me say thank you for the music.

North Korea announces Kim Jong-il will be embalmed and put on display
Hello, today I’m going to tell you a very singular news. It’s about the Kim Jong IL’s death. On Thursday, North Korea has announced that the bodie of Kim Jong Il will be embalmed. Thus, the “eternal leader” will join the long list of communist leaders embalmed -Lenin, Stalin, Mao Zedong, are some of them. Once embalmed, it is speculated that his body will be placed next to his father, Kim Il Sung, at the “Kumsusan” memorial palace.
It’s unknown who will carry out the embalming. The last time that this process was carried out, North Korea called a team of experts from the "centre for biological structures" in Moscow. But now, the people in North Korea can do this process by them self. The embalming process, due to their requirements, cost a fortune. Taking into account the country's economic needs, it is amazing that the Party decided to allocate funds to that, instead of giving food to his people.
This process responds to legal questions. The Party has already named Kim Jong Il “Eternal Leader”. It’s needed then, make the same that they did with his father (King Il Sun, named “Eternal President”), and probably this tradition will be continue until the end of the dynasty.

what they never dare to try
Hello! Today I’m going to tell you about something that everyone wish, but nobody do something to get it. It seems as if such a thing was something of tremendous value, but at the same time something not worth it. Today I’m going to tell you about happiness…
Nobody knows what happiness is, but everybody, has experienced –once at least. In these days, happiness is not something very popular. Instead of that, depression is what peoples like more. Because if you are too happy, the others think that you are a little crazy, and if you are a little crazy then they don’t give you a job, and if they don’t give a job then you won’t have money, and if you don’t have money then you won’t be happy. Accordingly, people don’t want to be happy, because if they are happy then they may not be happy. So, that’s for me the paradox of the society. People are afraid to be happy. They hide behind false personalities, and star to behave in a no natural way. After a whole unreal life they die. So if you ask me what happiness is, I would tell you that it is the thing that never dare to try.

A country I would like to visit
Hello! Today I’m going to tell you about something that I really love: travel around the world. But before, I must share with you the special meaning that such activity has for me. First of all, for me go travelling has nothing to do with a comfortable and expensive vacation in a picturesque country. The most important thing in a travel is to create a learning space. Under that conception, it doesn't matter where you go, because in every place you can get knowledge. The only thing you need for it is the desire.
A country that I want to visit very much is Chile. And I use the word “visit” because even though I live in Chile, I don’t feel that I know it. Therefore, I would like to take a bicycle and travel across its volcanoes, towns, and islands. In such places I would like to know the people who live there, learn about their music, poetry and job; more than anything I would like to understand more about their relationship with the nature.

The Peculiar Term
Hello! I would like to tell you about this new and peculiar term that we have.
First of all, I have to recognize that my expectations of it are not that high. The short time that we have, and the huge amount of knowledge that we have to learn on it, doesn’t seems to me very bearable really. However, this year has been a very important one for the history of the Chilean education, and the good things we’ll reap in the future are going to make all this lost time worth it, sooner or later…
The subjects that I’m taking now are: Social Psychology, Social investigation’s Methodology, Social History of Latin America, Philosophy of Social Science, Statistics and English. All of them are very interesting and I have a lot to read about them.
It feels rare to study in summer/Christmas, but nothing else. I really like what I do in the university, and I like too all the people that I have known. So it feels rare, but at the same time it feels really good.
Finally, I would like a very dynamic class, with a lot of talking, videos and music.
c-u!
